I've experienced twice minor bleedings in two weeks, just a little bit on my daily liner. I turned to my Chinese medicine doctor, I'm lucky to started my "stabilizing herb medicine" at the very beginning of pregnancy, he asked me to using this herb medicine for 2 months to make sure my baby is healthy. And I try to stay in bed as much as possible.
Any bleeding in pregnancy is abnormal.
Bleeding during first trimester is common, but it could be a sign of miscarriage. It's important to track the situation of bleeding by wearing a pad, keep rest, and consult your doctor.
Here's what I do now:
1. Stay in bed as much as possible, even not sleepy.
2. Stay in front of computer as less as possible.
3. Quit all coffeine.
4. Drink soymilk.
5. No exercise, not even walking.
6. No sex till I feel better.
And here's what my mom told me not to do:
1. Never raise your arms to high.
2. Don't let other's pat your shoulder. (My Chinese medicine doctore said it's actually ture. Because there's an inner path, in Chinese it is called "Jing Luo" from your shoulder to your uterus, it is very dangerous if someone pat your shoulder hardly, it may affect your uterus.)
3. Don't sit or stand for too long.
4. Don't lift heavy things.
5. Don't move the elements in your room. ( This is a Chinese tradition. I'm Taiwanese, we share same culture origins as Chinese. In Chinese culture, we believe there's a goddess in charging of pregnancy and baby, we call her "Bed Mother". We are asked to not changing bed during pregnancy, not move the furnitures around in the bedroom, not cut things in the bedroom, and not to nail the wall of the bedroom... during pregnancy. I choose to follow it, because I believe there must be some reason for people to follow this tradition for thousands years ^_^)
